HOUSTON, TX (December 1, 2020) – Zentech Inc announces its new technological advancement, Zentech Virtual Reality – Inspection (ZVR-I) for Tank Inspections, bringing cost savings, greatly improving human safety and time savings to the Oil & Gas and Marine Shipping Industries.

This latest advancement comes at a critical time for the offshore industry. As more and more vessels are transitioning between offline and online, their current conditions can make a significant change to timelines and the supply chain. Zentech has created a way to visually inspect the conditions of a tank without the need for personnel to enter hazardous spaces, void of oxygen, or with other potentially hazardous atmospheres. With little to no light, tanks can be viewed to see the level of corrosion allowing Management, Engineers, Class Society, and Thickness Gauging companies an immersive view, that is otherwise unattainable.

Quick deployment, measurement capability, snap-shot images taken from within the model, and the option to make collaborative notations highlighting key areas are all additional features of this technology.

HOUSTON, TX (November 9, 2020) – Zentech Inc has been awarded the Structural Engineering scope for the conversion of a Jack-up Rig to an Offshore Installation for BW Energy. Prior to the acquisition, Zentech carried out an engineering study and survey onboard the Jack-up Drilling Rig, ATLA, as part of an initial study to identify the feasibility of the Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODU) in the field. Zentech will carry out all structural engineering for the conversion to an Offshore Installation (OI) as per the rules and regulations for ABS Classification Society. This milestone ensures the vessel will receive a state-of-the-art production facility that will help in the advancement of innovative technology in marginal field development. This will also mark the first deployment of an OI for BW Energy. The OI will provide the field owner the capability of having a Production Facility installation for a significantly reduced cost compared to a traditional platform structure. Zentech, Inc. has been selected by ADNOC Drilling on an exclusive basis to provide comprehensive engineering support for all ADNOC Drilling engineering needs for both their Offshore and Onshore drilling rigs. The award includes the full range of the engineering service provision of Zentech including but not limited to structural engineering, marine engineering, naval architecture, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering. This all-encompassing contract is for a three-year period. This engineering contract strongly complements the already existing standardization that ADNOC Drilling has implemented with the use of Zentech’s Load & Stability program for Jackups (LosJack) for its entire offshore fleet for day-to-day operations.
